Using ClaimetryX
The zero-PHI rule
ClaimetryX is a reference and training platform, not a HIPAA-compliant system. It is designed so protected health information is never needed.
Knowledge Base
What this means for you
- Never enter patient-identifiable information anywhere in ClaimetryX — not in the workflows, not in Ask ClaimetryX, not in uploads.
- Complete patient-specific verification inside your organization's approved systems. ClaimetryX only needs the result of your check.
- Guided workflows accept fixed choices only, so patient data cannot be stored through them.
Safeguards in the product
- Ask ClaimetryX screens what you type. If it looks like patient information, submission stops and you are shown how to rephrase the question without it.
- Admin document uploads are screened the same way and are blocked before the file is stored if patient information is detected.
